Students -- Research

Research Guides

The legal research faculty have created many guides to help you in the course of your research, whether you are looking for tax materials or compiling legislative history on a Florida statute. View the full list of research guides

Databases

The Legal Information Center subscribes to many legal databases to help you conduct research. A full list is available at https://guides.law.ufl.edu/A-Z. If you have questions about how to use a database or need a recommendation about which database to use, contact our reference librarians.

While many popular scholarly multi-disciplinary databases are included on the LIC's A-Z database guide, Smathers Libraries subscribes to many additional databases on a wide variety of subjects. If you are doing interdisciplinary research or looking at the intersection of law and another field of study, you may want to discuss with a reference librarian what multi-disciplinary database might add your research.

Connecting Off-Campus

If you are doing research from off-campus then you must login via the proxy server or VPN before you can access any of our electronic materials. For details about this process, see the LIC technology guide at https://guides.law.ufl.edu/tech/vpn.
