The law librarians at the Legal Information Center provide a full range of services to support UF Law faculty research and teaching needs. Please do not hesitate to contact your liaison. Our goal is to provide an exceptional level of service in assisting our faculty with their robust research needs.
We welcome invitations to visit your classes for research sessions on particular subjects or resources. In order for us to provide the best experience possible, please provide us with as much advance notice as possible. To place a request, please contact your liaison. When you make your request, it is helpful for us if you provide information such as:
Date and time of the class when you want us to teach
Class name
Specific subject and/or resources that you want us to cover and the outcome that you desire – the more details the better
The legal research faculty strive to keep up-to-date on legal research tools. If you need assistance navigating legal databases, we are here to assist you. To schedule a training session or to find out what group sessions may be available, please contact your liaison. Requests for group sessions are also welcome.
If you need assistance with the smart podiums or other technologies built into the classroom, please contact UF Law's UFIT department.
The legal research faculty at the Legal Information Center are happy to support your research assistants and provide research guidance for faculty projects. To schedule research assistant training, please contact your library liaison. To provide the best training possible, please let us know what the project entails, whether there are specific resources that you would like utilized, and what type of results you are seeking.
If you would like to give your research assistant proxy borrowing privileges, please see the Proxy Borrowing information on the Borrowers page.
