The Legal Information Center is operating under reduced hours in order to ensure patrons are following proper social distancing and other guidelines established by the University at this time and to allow adequate time for the facility to be cleaned. Access is limited to current UF Law faculty, staff, and students. Library staff remains available by phone, email, or chat to assist all patrons. Please contact us for any assistance.
Access to the Legal Information Center is restricted to current UF Law faculty, staff and students. The LIC's exterior doors are locked at all times. UF Law students can access the LIC during its operating hours by using their Gator 1 card to swipe in at the LIC's front entrance. The second-floor door is currently designated as "Exit Only" to assist in social distancing. For your safety and the safety of your fellow UF Law students, please do not leave doors propped open or allow anyone to enter the LIC without swiping their Gator 1 card. Guests are not permitted even if accompanied by a law student. Every individual in the LIC must be a current UF Law faculty, staff, or student, and able to show a valid Gator 1 card for identification. If you witness suspicious or inappropriate behavior, please contact the LIC at (352) 273-0700.
Patrons must abide by University rules on face coverings and maintain social distance while using LIC facilities.
